There has been no word from Tumblr yet, so I have set up the following space:

There isn't anything there yet except a link to the Member Directory, which moved over to Neocities just fine.  I am considering moving all of the pages over to Neocities and only using Tumblr (and perhaps Dreamwidth) for updates in the future.

If you have any input as to how you would like things to go, please feel free to comment!

I don't know anything about Neocities, and DW is my fandom home. Will Neocities be more than a mirror of what's on DW or will I get everything MFPE right here?

Hey there! Apologies for taking so long to respond.

So, the way I think it would work is like this: the Dreamwidth community would have posts containing all of the normal updates (regarding events and updates to the member directory and whatnot), but there would also be a sticky post on the DW community with navigation links to certain pages (such as the member directory) that would be hosted off-site.

The member directory currently looks like this, and couldn't be hosted on DW, because it needs its search functionality, etc. intact.

But any pages that are hosted offsite would also link back to the DW community, so it should be kind of a seamless experience, I would hope. Does that make sense?

TYK for the explanation. As long as event updates (notice of Holiday Cheer Mailing for instance) will still be posted in the DW comm I won't worry about not having the other platform.
